16 Dec Millions for recruiter of the future
Investments funds LBDF, Kickstart Venlo (Rabobank) and the founders, have jointly invested in 8vance Matching Technologies, which provides the company with 2 million euro for innovation and growth.
Finding the needle in the Haystack
8vance has developed a smart virtual assistant who, to a large extent, takes care of the long search process for the ideal candidate or job. The assistant named AIMA (Automatic Intelligent Matching Agent) is able to find talents and jobs faster, better and more efficient on the internet and can match them together. AIMA can also find good candidates who are not actively searching for a new job. AIMA, who uses artificial intelligence and big data, also takes soft skills into account and is able to progressively make the labour market transparent. The public beta version of the system (www.8vance.com) is currently being tested and trialled by an international group of companies, recruiters and HR service providers.
Roll out and innovation
Dick Hak, managing director Kickstart Venlo explains: ”With Kickstart we offer venture capital for 8vance’s innovative plans”. “This investment will enable us to roll out our recruitment solution in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Germany” says Han Stoffels founder and CEO of 8vance. The version that finds the perfect job for candidates and supports them in building a career is expected in spring. Bert de Wit, LBDF managing director: “8vance Matching Technologies fits well with the Limburg Business Development Fund“, “8vance can fulfill its international growth ambitions, with this investment”.
8vance is a Dutch-German technology start-up headquartered in Venlo, Netherlands. 8vance has developed its own matching technology that can make inefficient markets, transparent and efficient with lower costs, higher quality, faster processes and more alternatives. 8vance is also known as the developer of “Sjerlok”; an innovative system to find and retrieve back stolen and missing objects for insurance companies, with help of big data, to reduce the claim burden.
